2.3.7
Annexure A
p. 17
DC should follow up on all unpaid
The DC should follow up on all unpaid advices received from the PDA and, where required, take steps to maintain the continuous payment as proposed in the debt re-arrangement proposal submitted to the Credit Providers.
NDRC Practice NoteLast reviewed 2026-04
What this means in practice
Unpaid advices from the PDA are an early warning that the rearrangement is at risk. The debt counsellor must act on each one rather than waiting for the credit provider to terminate.
Where it goes wrong
Files with two or more consecutive unpaid advices are at material risk of termination under s 86(10). NDRC's debit order verification logic checks DebiCheck active status via Finwise so unpaid advices are detected before the creditor acts.
