Debt Review Removal Attorneys: Join the NDRC Panel Attorney Network

Information for practising South African attorneys interested in joining the NDRC panel to run debt review removal court applications for NDRC consumers. This page is directed at attorneys; it is not a promotion of legal services to the public.

The National Debt Review Center (NCRDC3106) is a registered debt counselling company, not a law firm. Panel attorneys are independent legal practitioners who act on their own professional mandate. Fee terms are disclosed and agreed in writing on registration.

No joining fee. Practising status verified against the Legal Practice Council's public register. Attorney details are not published; NDRC does not operate a public attorney directory.

    How the panel works

Six steps from registration to payment. The attorney reviews, settles and signs the pleadings and takes full professional responsibility for the matter; NDRC supplies a factual pack drawn from the consumer's file and administers payment.

    1

    Register your practice

Submit your LPC registration number, contact details, courts you accept files at, and banking details.

    2

    Get verified

We confirm your practising status against the LPC public register.

    3

    Accept the Panel Attorney Terms

The written Terms, mandate structure and fee schedule are issued to you before any file is offered.

    4

    Claim files in nominated courts

Ready-to-issue files at courts you have nominated become available in the portal.

    5

    Run the matter

You review the supplied pack, amend where your professional judgment requires, settle the pleadings under your signature, issue, serve and appear.

    6

    Get paid

Approved fees are paid on a monthly cycle set out in the Panel Attorney Terms.

Before a file reaches you as correspondent, the factual pack drawn from the consumer's record is prepared and quality-checked by the instructing law firm that acts as attorney of record on the application. As the correspondent panel attorney, you review the pack, amend where professional judgment requires, settle and sign the pleadings you carry, and appear at the Magistrate's Court with jurisdiction.

Operational detail — the fee schedule, document requirements, upload SOP, payment cycle, mandate and referral mechanics — is set out in the Panel Handbook inside the portal after your registration is verified.

    National coverage; your jurisdiction

Applications to remove a consumer's debt review status are brought in the Magistrate's Court with jurisdiction over the consumer's verified address, under the National Credit Act and the applicable case law. Consumers on our books come from every province, so the panel needs practising attorneys at Magistrates' Courts across the country. You nominate the courts at which you accept files; jurisdiction on each file is fixed by the consumer's address, not by attorney preference.

    Factual pack supplied

Each file arrives with the proposed court identified and a factual pack drawn from the consumer's record, quality-checked by the instructing law firm. The correspondent attorney reviews, amends where necessary and settles the pleadings under their own signature.

    Attorney details stay private

NDRC does not publish an attorney directory. Registration details and banking information are held under access controls aligned to POPIA and used only to administer the panel and effect payment.

    Consumer-nominated attorney

Where an attorney introduces a consumer to NDRC and jurisdiction permits, the consumer may nominate that attorney to run the matter, subject to independent instructions. No cash referral fee is paid.

    Panel attorney: common questions

Looking for a debt review removal attorney near you?

If you are a consumer trying to remove a debt review flag, you do not need to find and brief an attorney yourself. We check whether you qualify, prepare the court application, and match your matter to a vetted practising attorney at the correct Magistrate's Court for your area, anywhere in South Africa.

Interested in joining the NDRC panel?

Registration takes a few minutes: your LPC registration number, the courts at which you accept files, and your banking details. Fee terms and the panel mandate are issued in writing before any file is offered.
