What if some debts are not paid in full at completion?

In standard debt review, all debts under the court order are paid in full over the term. However, special circumstances may arise:

If you've paid all debts except your home loan:

    • You can qualify for a Form 19 clearance certificate

    • Your home loan continues under the restructured terms

    If debts are prescribed (time-barred):

    • These may be excluded from further payment

    • We can apply for their removal from your credit record

    If reckless lending is found:

    • Some debts may be set aside entirely

    • Interest may be reversed

Always work with your debt counsellor to ensure proper completion of all accounts.
