What if I want to withdraw from debt review?

Withdrawal from debt review is possible but comes with consequences:

    • You lose legal protection from creditors

    • Creditors can resume collection and legal action

    • Interest and fees may be reinstated to original terms

    • Assets become vulnerable to repossession

If you're considering withdrawal, speak to your debt counsellor first. There may be better options such as plan adjustments or formal debt review removal if you're no longer over-indebted.
