    What documentation do I keep after debt review?

    After completing debt review, keep the following documents safely for at least 5 years:

    Essential documents:

    • Form 19 Clearance Certificate (most important)

    • Copy of your court order or consent order

    • Final distribution statement from your PDA

    • Paid-up letters from all creditors

    • Any correspondence confirming account settlements

    These documents may be needed if:

    • Credit bureaus don't update your record correctly

    • Creditors incorrectly claim you owe money

    • You need to prove your debt review completion

    • You apply for credit and need to explain your history
