    During Debt Review

What happens to store accounts during debt review?

Store accounts (retail credit) are included in your debt review like any other credit agreement:

    • The accounts are frozen – you cannot make new purchases

    • Outstanding balances are included in your restructured payment plan

    • Interest rates are typically reduced or frozen

    • The store cannot take legal action while you pay as agreed

    After debt review:

    • You may need to apply for new store accounts

    • Some stores may decline based on your credit history

    • Start with smaller accounts to rebuild your credit
