Yes, you may change debt counsellors at any time, provided that all fees are paid up to date.
The transfer process:
• We can facilitate this transfer using Form 17.7
• All your documentation and creditor records are transferred
• Your new debt counsellor cannot restart the process
• Your new debt counsellor is not entitled to charge restructuring fees again
It's important to note that changing counsellors shouldn't be done lightly – ensure you have valid reasons and that issues can't be resolved with your current counsellor first.
