When an individual is undergoing the process of debt review removal, a common question that arises is whether creditors can take legal action to recover outstanding debts. The answer to this is not straightforward and depends on several factors.

Creditors might still have the right to pursue legal action if they have legitimate reasons. For instance, if the individual under debt review has breached a court order issued during the debt review process, creditors may be legally justified in taking action to recover their money. Similarly, if the debt review process is terminated, creditors may also have the right to initiate legal proceedings.

To terminate the debt review process and to have the debt review notice removed from your credit reports requires that a court application be made for the court to find that you are not over-indebted, even if there is no court order in place for your debt review. Should you wish to terminate the debt review process, please complete the form below and attach all required documents, to allow us to do an assessment of your probable case. We shall then advise further.

To lighten the blow on your budget you can make the payment in monthly instalments of:*
- R2 850,00 over 3 months (vat exclusive)
- R4275.00 over 2 months (vat exclusive)
- R8 550,00 once off (vat exclusive)
Your Invoice for payment will be generated once we have received your application and assessed that you qualify for debt review removal. Also note that should you select the R2850.00 payment option, your application will only be sent for legal preparation once we have confirmed your second payment. (This means that your application will fall out of the 3-6 months period).
